Parrish Tire Company is seeking a Commercial Tire Technician in Statesville, NC. The role involves mounting, dismounting and balancing heavy service truck tires as well as passenger and light truck tires during on-site service calls and fleet parking lot work.

The position emphasizes safety and customer satisfaction, with indoors work and opportunities for growth. A DOT physical, drug screening, and eventual TIA certification are part of the pathway to success.

Responsibilities

• Mount and dismount tires on heavy service equipment and vehicles.
• Balance tires using appropriate equipment.
• Report safety concerns or issues to service or store manager immediately.
• Mount and dismount wheels from customer fleets.
• Perform various tire repairs as needed.
• Understand customer base and tire profiles.
• Perform daily safety pre-trip inspections on service truck.
• Maintain clean service truck and work area for safety.
• Follow safety regulations and procedures (TIA, OSHA, NCDOL).
• Understand tire design and tread patterns; aim for quality service.
• Must obtain (TIA) certification provided by Parrish Tire Company if not already obtained.
