Job summary

Heavy Duty Tire, LLC, a family-owned tire service provider, is seeking a Press Technician for our Tampa location. The ideal candidate is a motivated problem solver with experience in press operations and solid tires; training is available for the right applicant.

You will operate and maintain service vehicles, perform tire changes and repairs, and ensure accurate billing details while following safety procedures. Competitive salary and benefits are offered in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to lift and move tires up to 200 pounds.
• Physically capable to work in varying weather conditions.
• Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with press solids tires is preferred but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a service vehicle.

Heavy Duty Tire, LLC is a family owned and operated Commercial Tire Facility providing sales and service throughout the country with its headquarters located in West Palm Beach, Fl.

We are now accepting applications for a full-time Press Technician to fill a position at our Tampa location. Our ideal candidate is a driven problem solver with experience working with press and solid tires in the industrial tire industry. However, training is available and all candidates with relevant experience and a solid work history are encouraged to apply.

As an essential part of the team, the Press Technician is responsible for ensuring the customer experience out in the field by providing a quality service that is fast, efficient and raises the bar for industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating and maintaining a service vehicle
• Changing and repairing commercial and industrial tires
• Replacing and repairing rubber tracks
• Providing prompt and courteous service to our customers
• Working with office staff to ensure job details are accurate and properly recorded for billing
• Follow all safety procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid drivers license and clear driving record is mandatory for consideration
• Clean background check and drug screening
• Ability to lift and/or move tires weighing up to 200 pounds
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
• Problem solving
• Mechanically inclined
• Press solid tires, utilizing mechanical press
• Work independently on jobsite
• Required paperwork for customers
• Ability to follow safety procedure

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• No Nights
• Limited weekends
