Job summary

Daniels Tire Service Inc. in Escondido, CA is seeking a Commercial Tire & Fleet Service Technician to service, mount and repair truck tires for a variety of fleet vehicles. The role requires completing detailed work orders and adhering to safety standards on a busy service lot and on-site jobs.

You will maintain service trucks, report issues, and communicate with dispatch and customers to ensure timely, safe tire service. This position offers benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience with tire service on trucks or fleet vehicles.
• Ability to read and complete work orders with accuracy.
• Commitment to safety and proper PPE use.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire service on highway and OTR equipment ranging from Light Truck to Commercial Truck tires.
• Remove, repair, mount, switch tires on various wheel types.
• Complete detailed work orders including vehicle, location, unit numbers, tire sizes and DOT IDs.
• Explain work to customers and supervisors and complete jobs safely and efficiently.
• Identify and report any vehicle issues or safety concerns to dispatch.
• Maintain service vehicle and submit daily maintenance inspections.
• Communicate with dispatch and clients when questions arise on site.
