Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial garage doors and gates.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems related to doors and gates.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical aspects of projects.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced installation, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial garage doors, gates, and operator systems.
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections on doors, gates, and components.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and wiring diagrams for installations.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and complete required safety training.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and time records.
• Keep service vehicle stocked, organized, and in good condition.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding work performed and system functionality.
• Assist with special projects or emergency service calls as assigned by Branch Manager

Physical requirements

Depending on the functional area of the assignment, tasks involve the ability to medium to heavy work. As a technician, you must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. and carry up to 50ft. Physical efforts usually involve lifting

Pay: $28-$33 DOE

**** Our company's pay period is Sunday through Saturday, with WEEKLY payroll! That means payday is EVERY Friday! ****

Compensation

The base pay range for this role is $28 - $33 per hour.
