Wieland in Louisville, KY is seeking a Commercial Systems & Process Optimization Manager to lead commercial data infrastructure, analytics enablement, and automation across sales, marketing, and operations. This on-site role partners with IT and business teams to accelerate decision-making and improve forecast accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field (data analytics, marketing, finance, economics).
• 5-10 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, process improvement, or systems management.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading process improvement initiatives and cross-functional teams.
• Experience implementing reporting, dashboard, or automation solutions.
• Technical skills: Power BI, advanced Excel and data modeling, ERP (SAP preferred), CRM systems, AI/automation tools preferred.
• Leadership: problem-solving, analytical reasoning, curiosity, integrity, change management, systems mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own commercial reporting infrastructure (Dashboards, scorecards, self-service analytics).
• Develop and deploy AI-enabled tools for sales/marketing insights.
• Improve data governance and data quality for customers, products, pricing, margins, and market data.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with IT and other teams.
• Support recurring business assessments (weekly, monthly, quarterly).

Wieland is hiring a Commercial Systems & Process Optimization Manager. The Commercial Systems & Process Optimization Manager will be responsible for improving the efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness of the marketing team through reporting automation, development of AI-enabled analytical tools, data governance, and process improvement. This role serves as the leader for commercial data infrastructure and process excellence, partnering closely with sales, customer service, operations, supply chain, finance, and IT to ensure timely access to accurate and actionable business information. The position develops and deploys solutions that automate recurring reporting, improve data quality, streamline commercial workflows, and accelerate decision‑making across forecasting, pricing, profitability analysis, and customer management activities.

This role is located in Louisville, KY and will be fully on-site. Occasional travel to other locations may be required (up to 20% travel.)

Commercial Systems & Process Optimization Manager Responsibilities

Commercial Data & Analytics Enablement

1. Serve as business unit lead for commercial reporting and analytics systems (Power BI, SAP/SAP Analytics Cloud, Other ERP Systems, CRM, pricing & profitability, market intelligence).
2. Improve consistency, accessibility, and accuracy of customer, product, pricing, margin, and market data.
3. Support commercial team through scalable analytical solutions focused on automation and standardization to replace manual activities.
4. Establish and maintain commercial data governance standards to improve master-data integrity.
5. Partner with IT as well as other internal and external resources on data optimization projects.

Business Intelligence & Reporting

1. Own the commercial reporting infrastructure supporting the business unit.
2. Identify practical applications for AI and automation within sales & marketing team.
3. Create and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and self-service analytics solutions.
4. Develop advanced analytical capabilities supporting forecasting, pricing, profitability, customer segmentation, and market intelligence.
5. Support recurring business assessments including weekly tracking, monthly updates, and quarterly reviews.

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

1. Lead and support process improvement initiatives across commercial workflows.
2. Assess and document current-state processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and manual work.
3. Develop and implement future-state workflows that improve productivity and user experience.
4. Measure and track realized benefits from process improvement projects.
5. Key process areas include pricing administration, quoting, contract administration/tracking, customer onboarding, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Commercial Systems & Process Optimization Manager Qualifications

• Competencies and Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in business or related field (data analytics, marketing, finance, economics).
  2. 5-10 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, process improvement, or systems management.
  3. Manufacturing experience preferred.
  4. Demonstrated success leading process improvement initiatives and influencing cross-functional teams.
  5. Experience implementing reporting, dashboard, or automation solutions.
  6. Technical Skills: Advanced Power BI expertise, advanced Excel and data modeling skills, ERP systems experience (SAP preferred), CRM systems experience, AI and automation tool experience preferred.
  7. Leadership Skills: problem-solving and analytical reasoning, intellectual curiosity, emotional intelligence, personal integrity, change management capability, systems & processes mindset, team-oriented approach.
