Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Boynton Beach is seeking a Commercial Specialist to assist with dispatching, deliveries, and coordinating store fleet operations. You will conduct account visits, support Pro Sales efforts, and maintain parts area organization to enable smooth customer experiences.

Responsibilities include upselling, following CPP-led programs, and sustaining strong relationships with commercial customers while ensuring safety and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; communicate effectively with customers and team.
• Understand and follow written or diagrammed instructions.
• Read safety rules and maintenance instructions; write simple correspondence.

• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Lead commercial program when the CPP is not present (i.e. Weekends as business and customer demands require)

• Use Microsoft software effectively (Word, Excel required)
• Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Prior Experience that Sets a Commercial Specialist up for Success

Prior Automotive Parts Experience Preferred.

Prior dispatching or logistics coordination experience

Proven sales ability

Formal of informal experience working in groups to achieve goals.

Education

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

ASE Certification Preferred, But Not Required.

Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record as this role is required to have an MVR certification.
