A growing renewable energy contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Solar PV Electrician to support their projects in Northampton. The role involves installing, testing, and commissioning Solar PV systems while ensuring compliance with electrical standards. Qualifications

• Must hold NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation.
• Experience in commercial electrical installations is required.
• Possession of a full UK Driving Licence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial rooftop Solar PV systems.
• Conduct testing, inspection, and commissioning of Solar PV systems.
• Collaborate with roofing teams and site managers during projects.

Skills

Installation of commercial rooftop Solar PV systems

Electrical wiring, containment and inverter installation

Testing, inspection and commissioning of Solar PV systems

Fault finding and maintenance

Understanding of current electrical regulations

Education

NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent

ECS Gold Card preferred

BPEC Solar PV qualification advantageous
