Nexstar Media Group, Inc. in Sacramento seeks a Commercial Services Videographer/Editor. You will script, shoot and edit lifestyle show segments and client commercials for multiple platforms, delivering compelling visual storytelling.
This in-office role requires collaboration with sales teams, producers and clients, ensuring deadlines are met, maintaining gear, and supporting Studio40 Live productions. Starting wage is 27.50/hour plus benefits including medical, dental, and 401k.
The Lifestyle & Commercial Videographer/Editor will script and produce compelling visual commercials for our lifestyle show and on-location client commercials as well as 30-minute commercial specials by utilizing their artistic, technical expertise and composition skills. Will leverage the Nexstar Creative Services Hub for certain projects and work closely with our promotion’s Commercial Producer. This position reports to the Director of Sales.
Starts at 27.50/hr for qualified candidates.
Physical Demands & Work Environment: The Creative Services Videographer/Editor must be able to stand, sit, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions without supervision, make decisions that impact the results of co-workers, work near others, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. In addition, the Creative Services Producer must be able to lift, set up, and operate equipment weighing up to 40 pounds, and be able to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Repetitive movements are required. Work may be conducted in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions.
