Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. is hiring Commercial Door Technician Trainees in Las Vegas, NV. You will learn to repair and install commercial doors and dock hardware, working with a range of rolling and sectional doors, while maintaining safety and quality on every job.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical aptitude, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Training includes field work across the Las Vegas area with opportunities for growth in a nationwide door systems company.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools.
• Prior experience in a similar role or skilled trade is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds and work at heights safely.

Responsibilities

• Repair and/or install a wide range of commercial doors and dock hardware.
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
• Track and maintain job-related paperwork and submit in a timely manner.
• Operate in a safety-conscious manner at all times while performing job duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

• Repair and/or install a wide range of commercial doors and dock hardware, including but not limited to rolling steel doors, high-speed doors, sectional doors and dock levelers/equipment
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
• Track and maintain job related paperwork and submitting in a timely manner
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED (Preferred)
• Prior experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical aptitude preferred
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
• Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record
