Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Commercial Service Advisor to join a Ford dealership team, working with fleet customers to greet them, listen to their needs, and schedule appointments. You may set up loaner cars and verify insurance before maintenance is scheduled, contributing to smooth service operations.

The role emphasizes accuracy, quick problem identification, and building customer trust; responsibilities include estimating costs, submitting quotes, updating customers, and ensuring invoices match

Qualifications

• Previous service advisor experience preferred.
• Ability to identify the problem quickly.
• Knowledge of Fleet vehicles.
• Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant.

• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.
• Minimum of 1 year in service department.

Responsibilities

• Greet Fleet customers promptly
• Obtain customer, vehicle, and fleet information
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
• Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
• Submit quotes into Fleet portals as needed
• Establish follow up time
• Operate with an urgent mindset to protect our fleet clients' productivity, ensuring minimal downtime
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers
