Job summary

The Armstrong Group is seeking a Commercial Installer to support the Lead Technician in the day-to-day installation of fire, camera, security, and access systems across commercial sites.

You will read blueprints, coordinate with the Lead Technician, and report progress to Administration while maintaining safety and quality. The position includes a company vehicle and gas card, tools, training, PTO, holidays, and a path for long-term advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting with installation in commercial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Willing to travel up to 30%.
• Must be able to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Availability for evenings or alternating schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day work alongside lead technician on large commercial jobs.
• Read blueprints to complete assigned installations.
• Communicate job details and progress to Lead Technician and Administration.
