Position Summary

Route Manager (Commercial Pest Control Technician) – responsible for managing a dedicated route of commercial clients, delivering pest control and inspection services, maintaining client relationships, and supporting business growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage a dedicated route of commercial clients, ensuring timely and professional service.
• Respond quickly to service requests, complaints, and urgent needs.
• Provide proactive guidance and recommendations to customers.
• Identify opportunities to grow accounts and generate qualified leads.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and fully stocked company vehicle and comply with DOT and company standards.
• Set up, monitor, and dismantle equipment for new installations and specialized treatments.
• Engage in regular training to earn and maintain certifications and stay updated on pest‑control methods.
• Partner with clients and technical specialists to create action plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years in route sales, facilities management, janitorial service, landscaping, environmental services, or related customer‑service roles.
• Strong communication, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including urgent and unscheduled services.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technology.
• Pass background screening including identity, criminal history, and motor‑vehicle record checks.
• Meet DOT physical standards, including a 5‑panel drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous pest‑control experience.
• Pest control, industrial, or safety certifications.
• Experience in pest control, landscaping, agriculture, or food production.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary $21-26 per hour (depending on experience) plus performance bonuses and sales commissions.
