Job summary

CP Rankin is a well-established roofing contractor seeking a commercial roofing technician, assistants and helpers to join the team. Responsibilities include inspecting roofs, identifying deficiencies, performing repairs, and documenting work. Travel is required and drivers license, tools, and drug/background checks are expected.

Qualifications

• Experienced on commercial roof systems as described above
• Physically capable of handling all aspects of roofing repairs
• Maintain all OSHA and other industry standards for safety and compliance
• Good computer skills helpful
• Excellent communicator, both oral and written
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
• Must have personal tools for the trade
• Hold and maintain a valid driver’s License
• Pass Drug Screen and Background Checks

Responsibilities

• Conducting general inspections/scope of work for potential repairs/replacements
• Identify, locate, document and advise on roof system deficiencies and issues
• Make emergency repairs when and as needed to satisfy customer needs
• Provide a complete scope of work to be performed for additional repairs needed
• Install service & perform approved repairs as requested
• Interact and work well with owners, customers, co-workers, managers, and inter-office personnel, etc.
• Must be adaptable to constantly changing environments and work places
• Complete required daily paperwork, such as on-line service documents, timesheets, etc.
• Some Travel
• There may be additional duties and responsibilities required.
