Job summary

Empire Roofing, a Tecta America Company, is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Service Technician to service and repair leaks on a variety of commercial roofing systems in Tennessee. The role focuses on BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC, and low-slope metal roofing, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

You will remove, repair, and install roofing systems, conduct inspections, document service work, and maintain a professional presence at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience with multiple commercial roofing systems preferred but not required; training available.
• Valid driver''s license required.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Ability to work at varying heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and coworkers.
• Strong initiative, integrity, and adaptability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Technology savvy and comfortable completing electronic paperwork/documentation.

Responsibilities

• Remove, repair, and install BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC, and sloped roofing systems.
• Perform roof maintenance, inspections, leak investigations, and repairs.
• Identify leak sources and determine repair solutions.
• Complete paperwork and service documentation.
• Maintain professional interaction with customers, supervisors, and coworkers.
• Attend meetings and assist with training crew members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Represent Empire Roofing and Tecta America professionally at customer locations.
