Job summary

JB Roofing, a Tecta America Company, is hiring a Commercial Roofing Tech I for our Akron, OH location. You will lead the service crew, investigate, locate and repair leaks and defects across EPDM, PVC, TPO, built-up, modified bitumen, and low slope metal roofing systems; manage projects from start to finish with a focus on craftsmanship.

The role requires 2+ years’ experience leading commercial roofing crews, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds.

You will be the service crew’s leader and responsible for investigating, locating and repairing leaks and defects in the following commercial roofing systems EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing, Modified Bitumen, and low slope metal. You would manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish and ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.

Commercial Roofing Service Tech I Core Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• 2+ years experience leading commercial roofing crews
• A valid driver's license
• Bilingual a plus!, English and Spanish
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly
• Must be able to work at varying heights and during variety of weather conditions
• Ability to communicate well with clients, supervisors, and co-workers.
• Initiative, Integrity, and Adaptability.

Requisitos de formulario en techos comercial

• 3-5 años de experiencia liderando equipos de techos comercial.
• La experiencia con todo tipo de sistemas de techos comercial.
• Una licencia de conducer valida
• Iniciativa,Integridad, & Adaptabilidad
• Debe poder submit escaleras, agacharse, 7 arrodillarse regularmente
• Debe poder levanter mas de 50 libras regularmente
• Debe ser capaz de trabajar a diferentes alturas y durante una variedad de condiciones climáticas

Las condiciones de trabajo

• Entorno fisico:Ambiente de campo con exposicion a alturas, ruido y temperaturas.
• Esfuerzo fisico:Estar de pie mucho tiempo, caminar, subir escaleras. Levantamiento frecuente que no exceda las 50 libras.
• Viaje: Todo es local, hasta 2 horas de distancia.
