Job summary

Davco-Roofing-and-Sheet-Metal in Charlotte, NC seeks a Commercial Roofing Service Technician to perform roof service and preventative maintenance on commercial properties. You will detect and fix leaks, replace damaged materials, and provide preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities include serving existing accounts, evaluating project needs, coordinating with owners and managers, and ensuring safety on site while using hand and power tools and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders, investigating complaints, conducting tests, resolving problems.
• Establish service by evaluating needs and requirements of the project; gathering repair supplies; completing installation.
• Communicate professionally with building owners, property managers, and internal teams.
• Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance on various commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, and Metal.
• Perform leak investigations, shingle repairs, flashing repairs, and localized tear-off and replacement of damaged components on commercial shingle roofing systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose roof leaks and other issues effectively.
• Document service and installation actions for billing requirements.
• Ensure job site safety protocols are followed and all OSHA standards are met.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
• Reviews work orders for accuracy and completeness before departing job sites.
• Maintains a clean and organized job site at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
