Job summary

Childers Roofing, a Tecta America company, in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking an experienced Commercial Service Foreman to lead the service crew and manage projects from start to finish. You will investigate and repair leaks across EPDM, PVC, TPO, BUR, Modified Bitumen, and metal roofs while ensuring high craftsmanship and safety standards.

We offer a competitive starting rate of $28/hr BOE and support a team-focused, safety-driven work environment in the Northeast Florida region.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2+ years of experience leading commercial roofing crews.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Able to work at varying heights and in different weather conditions.
• Strong communication with clients, supervisor and co-workers.
• Demonstrates initiative, integrity and adaptability.
• Technology savvy and able to use job-site tools and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the service crew to locate and repair leaks and defects.
• Oversee removal and installation of BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope metal roofs.
• Perform work per job specs and safety guidelines.
• Maintain professional interaction with customers.
• Manage crew, complete paperwork, attend meetings, and assist training of crew members.

Commercial Roofing Service Foreman Summary

You will be the service crew’s leader and responsible for investigating, locating and repairing leaks and defects in the following commercial roofing systems EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing, Modified Bitumen, and low slope metal. You would manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish and ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.

Commercial Roofing Service Foreman Responsibilities

• Removal and installation of all types of commercial roof systems including: BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope metal roof systems
• Roof maintenance and repairs
• Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
• Manage commercial roofing crew, includes completing required paperwork, attending meetings as necessary, assist in training of crew members as needed

Commercial Roofing Service Foreman Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
