Job summary

TeamCraft Roofing is hiring for local commercial and industrial roofing repairs and re-roofs in the Virginia Beach area, giving you the advantage of working near home. We are a growing, family-owned business with a national presence and a strong track record of promoting from within.

In this role you will handle general cleanup, material handling, roof cleanup, roof removal of old materials, and support skilled roofers on projects.

Qualifications

• Consistent and dependable attendance.
• Ability to follow through with instructions and complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to communicate verbally and written.
• Valid Driver’s License is a plus.

Responsibilities

• General cleanup, sweeping, and removal of debris throughout the project.
• Clean up the work area and equipment as needed throughout the project.
• Removes snow, water, or debris from roofs prior to applying roofing materials.
• Unload materials and tools from work trucks.
• Sweep and clean roofs to prepare them for the application of new roofing materials.
• Remove old roofing materials.
• Clear drains and downspouts; and clean gutters
• Set ladders, scaffolds, and hoists in place for taking supplies to roofs
• Provide assistance to skilled roofers installing and repairing roofs, flashings, and surfaces.

Pay: $18-$22/hour, based on experience and demonstrated skills

Compensation:

A qualified candidate will be offered a competitive hourly rate ($18-$22/hour, based on experience and demonstrated skills), along with the benefits listed below:
