Job summary

TeamCraft Roofing in Richmond, VA is seeking a dependable entry-level roofing helper for local commercial/industrial repairs and re-roofs. This on-site role offers growth potential within a growing company with a national presence.

You will perform cleanup, assist skilled roofers, load materials, and help prepare surfaces for new roofing. Competitive hourly pay $18-$22 with medical and dental insurance for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance on every shift.

• Valid driver’s license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• General cleanup, sweeping, and removal of debris throughout the project.
• Clean up the work area and equipment as needed throughout the project.
• Removes snow, water, or debris from roofs prior to applying roofing materials.
• Unload materials and tools from work trucks.
• Sweep and clean roofs to prepare them for the application of new roofing materials.
• Remove old roofing materials.
• Clear drains and downspouts; and clean gutters
• Set ladders, scaffolds, and hoists in place for taking supplies to roofs
• Provide assistance to skilled roofers installing and repairing roofs, flashings, and surfaces.

This will be for local commercial/industrial roofing repairs and re-roofs in the area, so you'll have the advantage of being able to work near home. We’re a growing company with a national presence, and are big on promoting from within.

Compensation:
