Job summary

TeamCraft Roofing in Hopewell, VA is seeking reliable laborers for local commercial/industrial roofing repairs and re-roofs. You’ll work near home on varied projects and join a growing company that promotes from within.

Pay ranges $18-$22/hour and Medical and dental insurance are provided for full-time employees. Responsibilities include general cleanup, unloading materials, preparing roofs, removing old roofing, installing and repairing roofs with skilled roofers, and ensuring safe, clean work

Qualifications

• Consistent attendance is essential.
• Ability to follow through with instructions and complete tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Valid driver's license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• General cleanup, sweeping, and debris removal on projects.
• Clean up the work area and equipment as needed.
• Removes snow, water, or debris from roofs before roofing work.
• Unload materials and tools from work trucks.
• Sweep and clean roofs to prepare for new materials.
• Remove old roofing materials.
• Clear drains and downspouts; clean gutters.
• Set ladders, scaffolds, and hoists to access roofs.
• Assist skilled roofers with installation and repairs.

Job Description:

This will be for local commercial/industrial roofing repairs and re-roofs in the area, so you’ll have the advantage of being able to work near home. We’re a growing company with a national presence, and are big on promoting from within.

Job Responsibilities:

These are the expectations of our employees with this job title:

• General cleanup, sweeping, and removal of debris throughout the project.
• Clean up the work area and equipment as needed throughout the project.
• Removes snow, water, or debris from roofs prior to applying roofing materials.
• Unload materials and tools from work trucks.
• Sweep and clean roofs to prepare them for the application of new roofing materials.
• Remove old roofing materials.
• Clear drains and downspouts; and clean gutters
• Set ladders, scaffolds, and hoists in place for taking supplies to roofs
• Provide assistance to skilled roofers installing and repairing roofs, flashings, and surfaces.

Compensation:

A qualified candidate will be offered a competitive hourly rate ($18-$22/hour, based on experience and demonstrated skills), along with the benefits listed below:
