Job summary

Fort Wayne Roofing, a Tecta America Commercial Roofing Company, is seeking commercial roofing laborers in Fort Wayne, IN. The position offers a starting pay of $23 per hour and requires at least 1 year of roofing or construction experience.

You must be able to work outdoors, lift heavy loads, and safely operate at heights on roofs. Candidates should be able to pass a background check and drug screen and be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 1 year of commercial roofing experience and/or construction experience.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Able to pass pre employment background check and drug screen.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair roofs with commercial roofing systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles).
• Able to work well in a team setting.
• Able to work outside in extreme weather conditions.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs with repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling.
• Comfortable with climbing a ladder up to 60ft and being on a roof.
• Perform work to manufacturer's specifications with close attention to safety.
