Job summary

A. C. Hathorne, a Tecta America company, is seeking an experienced Crane Operator in Williston, VT. You will operate the crane, load and unload roofing materials, and drive loads to job sites while assisting roofing crews.

Responsibilities include crane operation, maintenance, and inspection, with emphasis on safety and compliance with DOT/OSHA rules. CDL and NCCCO certification are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• NCCCO certified crane/boom truck operator with current Class A/B CDL license
• 2–5+ years of crane operation experience
• Ability to read and analyze lift plans and ensure compliance with local/state regulations
• Ability to operate, inspect and maintain crane and rigging equipment; knowledge of DOT/OSHA requirements

Responsibilities

• Operate crane to load/unload commercial roofing materials
• Transport loads to job sites and assist roofing crews
• Perform routine crane maintenance and inspections
• Complete daily paperwork for job sites and foreman
• Support driving and field activities as projects require

• NCCCOcertified crane/boom truck operator with currentClass A/B CDLlicense
• Current DOT physical, preferred
• 2-5+ years’ experience operating a crane; able to operate crane in a safe & responsible manner
• Ability to read and analyze lift plans; ensure lift is in compliance with local & state regulations
• Ability to operate, inspect and maintain the crane and rigging equipment
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and OSHA requirements pertaining to crane and heavy equipment operation
• Ability to complete daily paperwork for job, site PM and/or Foreman
• High School graduate or equivalent
