Job summary

A Crane Operator position based in Williston, VT, within A. C. Hathorne, a Tecta America company. You will operate the crane, load and unload commercial roofing materials, drive loads to job sites, and support roofing crews.

Requirements include NCCCO preferred, Class A/B CDL, current DOT considerations, and 2–5+ years crane experience. Company offers a comprehensive benefits package and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• NCCCO certified crane/boom truck operator preferred.
• Class A/B CDL license required.
• DOT physical required or preferred.
• Ability to read and analyze lift plans and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Operate, inspect and maintain crane and rigging equipment.

• Transport loads to job sites and support roofing crews.
• Perform daily crane inspections and basic maintenance.

We are looking for experienced Crane Operator in Williston, VT!

The Crane Operator will be responsible for operating the crane, loading and unloading commercial roofing materials, driving loads to job sites, and assisting commercial roofing crews. Responsible for operation, maintenance and inspection of crane and rigging. Perform other driving and field support activities as projects require.

Pay starting at $25/hr BOE

Crane Operator/ CDL Driver Requirements

• NCCCOcertified crane/boom truck operator with currentClass A/B CDLlicense
• Current DOT physical, preferred
• 2-5+ years' experience operating a crane; able to operate crane in a safe & responsible manner
• Ability to read and analyze lift plans; ensure lift is in compliance with local & state regulations
• Ability to operate, inspect and maintain the crane and rigging equipment
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and OSHA requirements pertaining to crane and heavy equipment operation
• Ability to complete daily paperwork for job, site PM and/or Foreman
• High School graduate or equivalent
