Job summary

Tecta America Corporation is seeking experienced Commercial Roofers in Virginia Beach, VA to install and repair roofs using BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope systems. Candidates should have at least 5 years of commercial roofing experience, knowledge of TPO and Modified roofing, and be able to work outdoors in all weather, lift heavy loads, and pass background checks.

A valid driver’s license and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of commercial roofing experience.
• Experience in TPO & Modified roofing systems.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Authorized to work in the United States with valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair roofs using BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope roofing systems.
• Work effectively in a team and adapt to outdoor conditions.
• Lift 50+ lbs and maneuver on ladders up to 60 ft while following safety protocols.
• Perform work to manufacturers’ specifications with attention to safety.

Commercial Roofers Summary

Install and repair roofs with the use of commercial roofing systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles).

• Able to work well in a team setting
• Able to work outside in extreme weather conditions
• Able to lift 50+ lbs with repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling.
• Comfortable with climbing a ladder up to 60ft and being on a roof
• Perform work to manufacturer's specifications with close attention to safety

Commercial Roofers Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial roofing experience
• Experience in TPO & Modified roofing systems
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Able to pass pre employment background check and drug screen
  • Must be able to get to gain military base access
• Authorized to work in the United States
