Job summary

The Melanson Company, a Tecta America Company, is seeking an experienced commercial roofer to join our Rutland, Vermont team. You will install and repair commercial roofing systems, including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC, and slope.

Applicants should have 3 years of commercial roofing experience, be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, and pass a background check and drug screen. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a safety‑driven work environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of commercial roofing experience
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license
• Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Install and repair roofs with commercial roofing systems (BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC)
• Work well in a team setting
• Work outside in extreme weather conditions
• Lift 50+ lbs with repeated bending, climbing and kneeling
• Climb ladders up to 60ft and be on a roof
• Follow manufacturer specifications with emphasis on safety
