Job summary

JB Roofing, A Tecta America Company, located in Akron, OH, is looking for experienced commercial roofers to join our team. You will install and repair roofs with BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC, and slope, working safely in a team setting.

Applicants must have 5 years of commercial roofing experience, be 18 or older, hold a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a background check and drug screen. We offer comprehensive benefits and a 401(k) plan.

Commercial Roofing Mechanic Summary

Install and repair roofs with the use of commercial roofing systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles).

• Able to work well in a team setting
• Able to work outside in extreme weather conditions
• Able to lift 50+ lbs with repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling.
• Comfortable with climbing a ladder up to 60ft and being on a roof
• Perform work to manufacturer's specifications with close attention to safety

Commercial Roofing Mechanic Requirements

• 5 years of commercial roofing experience
• 18 years of age or older
