Job summary

Big Geyser Inc. is seeking a Refrigeration Technician to repair, install and troubleshoot commercial refrigeration and beverage equipment, including vending machines.

You will perform preventative maintenance and work on mechanical and electrical components, with weekend shifts required and potential holiday hours. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of HVAC experience, strong problem-solving skills and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of Refrigeration/HVAC experience.
• Practiced in safe work habits and professional conduct.
• Ability to replace mechanical and electrical components including motors, switches, solenoids, pumps, valves and compressors.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities for breakdowns of beverage refrigeration equipment.
• Excellent communication, organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Repair and upgrade refrigeration equipment and be responsible for maintenance of beverage cooling systems.
• Read blueprints and electrical/electronic schematics related to equipment.
• Understand vending machine operations and beverage equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions and conduct repairs to restore operation promptly.
• Operate testing tools and gauges for refrigeration systems and safety checks.
