Job summary

SRV Temperature Solutions in Nebraska and Iowa is seeking a Commercial Refrigeration Technician to service and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC/R systems. You will work on walk-ins, reach-ins, ice machines, display cases, and rack systems while owning your own territory and take-home truck.

The role rewards hands-on craft with a competitive $30-$44/hr DOE, plus overtime, health coverage, 401(k) with match after 1 year, 15 days PTO, holidays, tool allowance, and paid EPA/NATE

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial refrigeration or HVAC/R service experience.
• Rack and CO2 experience is a plus.
• EPA 608 certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Tradesman mindset with ownership of outcomes.

Commercial Refrigeration Technician - $30-$44/hr DOE + Take-Home Truck

SRV Temperature Solutions is expanding across Eastern Nebraska and Iowa, including Omaha. We are a family-owned, technician-first commercial refrigeration and HVAC company - not a private-equity roll-up - and we are looking for tradesmen who take pride in diagnosing it right the first time.

If you know your way around walk-ins, reach-ins, ice machines, display cases, rack systems, hot-side kitchen equipment, and related HVAC, this is a shop where the craft still matters.

What You'll Do

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC/R equipment.

• Work on walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, ice machines, display cases, rack systems, and related hot-side equipment.

• Own your territory and your truck while keeping customers running.

• Diagnose quickly, fix it right, and communicate professionally with customers and dispatch.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of commercial refrigeration or HVAC/R service experience.

• Rack and CO2 experience is a plus and is rewarded at the top of the range.

• EPA 608 certification.

• Valid driver's license and a clean-ish driving record.

• A tradesman mindset: systems thinking, pride in the work, and ownership of the outcome.

Service Territory & Travel

This position primarily serves customers within your local branch's service area. As business needs require, team members may occasionally provide support to other SRV Temperature Solutions branches during periods of high customer demand. Occasional travel, including overnight travel when necessary, may be required.
