GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Associate performs a wide range of complex analytical and high-level support functions. With limited supervision, this position applies analytical skills to provide consistent data and reporting support for the Commercial Real Estate team. This role may also provide oversight of Analysts and CAPs (Commercial Associate Program) to ensure the production of a high quality work product. Manages and maintains models and presentation materials so that they are accurate and up-to-date and meet the needs and objectives of the team.

The role is responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues ,and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

No direct reports, however incumbent provides oversight and direction for Analysts and Commercial Leadership Program participants.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Undergraduate degree required, graduate degree preferred.
• 2+ years experience in Commercial Banking or related field.
• Strong credit underwriting and corporate banking skills required.
• Strong analytic skills and good working knowledge of financial modeling.
• Excellent presentation skills, both oral and written.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like.
