Job summary

Koley Jessen is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Analyst to join its Real Estate practice in Omaha for a 2-3 year summer role. You will participate in transactions from inception to closing, support deal teams, and help develop tools used in real estate matters.

The position emphasizes analytical work, strong communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment with exposure to developers, investors, lenders, and tenants in a leading law firm setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and strong interest in commercial real estate or the legal industry.
• Excellent track record and demonstrated ability to think critically.
• Ability to concisely communicate complex matters in oral and written form.
• Strong work ethic, desire to learn, leadership skills and willingness to take on responsibility.
• Desire to learn and operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical skills, proactive approach, keen attention to detail, and ability to work in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform varied work from inception to closing on real estate transactions.
• Assist deal teams in due diligence, preparing legal documents, and researching legal precedent.
• Develop, maintain, and improve tools used in real estate matters.
• Coordinate projects and team efforts through effective communication and follow-up.
• Interact directly with clients, brokers, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders.
