• Ensure smooth commercial handoff from opportunity to execution with clear accountability.
• Prepare updates, status reports, and decision logs for visibility and governance.
• Link milestones to commercial terms; coordinate invoicing with Finance.

Job description

Padagis is looking for a Commercial Project Manager with CDMO/CMO experience within the pharmaceutical space, or other closely regulated similar space, to join our Commercial Team early in Q1 2027.

This role is ideal for an experienced CDMO/CMO professional who thrives at the intersection of customer engagement and internal execution. In addition to managing customer-facing commercial programs, this individual will also lead a small portfolio of internal projects that help build and strengthen the CDMO function, including improvements to processes, governance, tools, and cross-functional ways of working as the business scales.

Job duties

• Customer-facing project leadership: Act as the primary project contact for assigned CDMO/CMO customers, providing structured updates, managing expectations, and ensuring a responsive, professional experience throughout the project lifecycle. Proactively communicate, so that customers never have to chase for status updates.
• Cross-site coordination: Partner closely with Operations and site teams in both Minnesota and Israel to align on manufacturing readiness, timelines, priorities, risks, and execution across customer programs.
• End-to-end project management: Build and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items across launches, supply initiatives, tech transfers, and ongoing commercial activities.
• Internal CDMO build-out projects: Manage a small portfolio of internal projects that support building out CDMO processes, governance, tools, and ways of working, contributing to a more scalable, customer-centric operating model.
• Issue and risk management: Proactively identify bottlenecks, trade-offs, and execution risks, and drive mitigation plans to support on‑time delivery and a strong customer experience.
• Commercial handoff and execution support: Partner with commercial leadership to ensure effective transition from signed opportunity to active execution, with clear accountability and follow‑through.
• Reporting and documentation: Prepare customer updates, internal status reports, action logs, and decision trackers that improve visibility, alignment, and execution discipline.
• Milestone and invoicing coordination: Maintain clear linkage between project milestones and commercial terms; track when milestones are achieved, confirm completion with internal teams, and coordinate with Finance/Commercial so customer invoices are issued on time and aligned with the work performed.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of experience in project or program management within a pharmaceutical CMO/CDMO or closely related regulated manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing customer-facing projects, ideally involving tech transfers, new product introductions, commercial launches, or supply continuity efforts.
• Strong understanding of cross-functional pharma/CMO workflows (Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain) and how they interact in commercial manufacturing projects.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects with clear structure, discipline, and follow-through.
• Excellent communication skills, with confidence in managing discussions with external customers and senior internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Proficiency in project management tools and standard office applications (Smartsheet, MS Projects, Excel, PowerPoint).
