Job summary

CKF is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to oversee countertop projects from design to installation. You will work with clients, consultants, and contractors to determine specifications, materials, costs, and timelines.

The role requires strong CAD skills, blueprint reading, and effective communication with stakeholders. You will manage multiple sites, update internal systems, and ensure projects meet schedule and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of related experience.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to read blueprints and construct project plans.
  • CAD and template capabilities; project documentation and scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate countertops projects with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Develop design specs, material lists, costs, and timelines in collaboration with supervisors.
  • Maintain schedules, update SPS system, and track materials and progress.
  • Represent CKF in weekly project meetings and site visits.
  • Monitor job sites for compliance and coordinate installations.

We are a culture committed to providing the highest level of customer service as well as a great environment for our employees to work.As a company, we are committed to providing top brand name products at competitive prices with an experienced, knowledgeable sales and support staff.The Commercial Project Manager position is responsible for representing the company with clients and consultants on commercial jobs in regards to countertops and for making decisions on behalf of the company.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Manages multiple projects at various stages of work and ensure timelines are being met.Consults with clients and/or project supervisors to determine functional and spatial requirements of countertops, and prepares information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, and estimated costs.Work closely with project supervisor to establish timeline and regularly update and adjust as needed.Update internal SPS system as necessary for materials and tracking purposes.Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications.CAD and Templates plans using computer software and equipment. Work with internal CAD team to create renderings of project within project timeframe.Represent company in weekly project meetings with commercial contractors.Manage job sites to ensure they are ready for materials to be installed. Assist with installs as necessary.Conducts onsite observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans. Evaluate work and/or rework post install.Be available to work the occasional early morning, evening, or weekend based on job needs.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds.
