Job summary

Trans Ova Genetics is seeking a Commercial Professional Services Embryologist I to join our Dumas, TX team. This hands-on role offers training to develop embryology and IVF laboratory skills in a fast-paced, science-driven environment.

You will perform oocyte searching, assist IVF processes, and maintain data per protocols, while supporting inventory and safety practices. This position provides growth within a global leader in bovine reproductive technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Animal Science or related field; Veterinary Technician degree considered.
• Embryology experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and data accuracy.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Dexterity for manipulating small tools; microscope work.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended microscope use.

Responsibilities

• Perform oocyte searching by pouring and examining OPU filters using microscopic techniques.
• Assist with IVF laboratory processes, including stripping oocytes and loading straws.
• Accurately enter and maintain embryology and lab data in accordance with established protocols.
• Support inventory management of lab supplies and materials.
• Adhere to Trans Ova Genetics’ policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintain a professional demeanor representative of Trans Ova Genetics’ industry leadership.
• Promote and follow all workplace safety practices.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
