Job summary

WaFd Bank's Boise campus seeks a Commercial Product Analyst to analyze workflows, system use, and lending processes, identifying optimization opportunities to enhance the frontline experience. This role serves as a bridge between Regional Deal Teams, Lending Operations, and the Commercial Product team, supporting CRM functions alongside lending workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Commercial Banking or Lending.
• Strong communication, organization and customer relations skills.
• Ability to learn systems (nCino, DNA, Built, CoStar, APIs) and use Excel/SQL for analysis.
• Analytical, listening, and problem-solving skills; work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Gather frontline feedback across regions for understanding and evaluation.
• Coordinate front line review and sign-off for product initiatives.
• Collaborate with System Administrators and Applications Teams to optimize products.
• Provide day-to-day frontline support for CRM or lending functionalities.
• Partner with the Commercial Product Manager to manage changes with proper oversight.
• Assess initiatives and help determine prioritization.
• Create and maintain internal product guides and workflows with training teams.
• Lead commercial cleanup projects with limited supervision.
• Identify KPIs and work with analytics for ongoing tracking and reporting.
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing with the Commercial Product Business Analyst.

Job Summary

The Commercial Product Analyst is responsible for supporting the Commercial Product team in analyzing current workflows, system use, and business practices to identify opportunities for optimization and enhance the frontline experience. This individual serves as a supporting resource and bridge between the Regional Deal Teams, Lending Operations, and the Commercial Product team, seeking feedback for continual advancement of the program. The Analyst partners with the Commercial Product Manager to support customer relationship management (CRM) functions along with Commercial and Business Lending workflows.

Additionally, this position will work with Commercial and Business Banking leadership teams to understand business, risk, product, financial and regulatory needs for the department. Key Functions

• Seeking front line feedback as it pertains to Commercial and Business Lending practices. Often this means accumulating information from various regions for comprehensive understanding and evaluation.
• Coordinate front line review and feedback throughout product initiatives, as well as sign off prior to implementation.
• Collaborate with System Administrators and Applications Teams to support product optimization.
• Assist with day-to-day frontline support related to CRM or lending functionalities.
• Partner with Commercial Product Manager to execute all changes with appropriate level of change management and oversight.
• Evaluate initiatives and assist in determining prioritization.
• Create and maintain internal product guides, charts and workflows in partnership with the Commercial Content and Training teams.
• Spearhead Commercial cleanup projects with limited supervision.
• Identify KPI's for initiatives and partner with the analytics team to create ongoing tracking/reporting.
• Assist with User Acceptance testing in collaboration with the Commercial Product Business Analyst.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience preferably in Commercial Banking or Lending.
• Excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and advanced customer relations skills.
• Strong technical aptitude to learn and understand banks identified systems including but not limited to, nCino (Salesforce), DNA, Built, CoStar integrations, API's, etc.
• Ability to quickly determine functional needs from non-technical conversations with users and use analytical skills and tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) to make sound business recommendations.
• Analytical skills to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information to details
• Listening skills, understand what people say, probe when appropriate and help them articulate their true needs
• Graphics & modeling experience a plus, to represent requirements information in graphical forms (flow charts, swim-lanes, PowerPoint presentations, etc.)
• Must be team-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
