Job summary

The Pool Pros in Costa Mesa, CA is hiring a Commercial Pool Technician. No experience is required—we provide training. You will maintain commercial pools, balance water chemistry, and service pumps, filters, and automation systems to keep facilities safe and attractive.

We offer full-time hourly or part-time hourly roles with weekends required. Training provided; CPO is a plus or can be earned within 6 months. Competitive pay and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in pool service or related field.
• Strong understanding of pool systems: filtration, circulation, balance and controls.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; CPO preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months.
• Ability to diagnose and repair pumps, heaters, filters and plumbing components.
• Excellent customer service and professional communication with clients and team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of commercial pools, spas, and water features.
• Test and balance pool water chemistry for safe swimmer conditions.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters and automation.
• Monitor and adjust chemical feeders and controls for proper operation.
• Maintain service records and repair documentation.
• Manage service routes efficiently while upholding company standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety regulations and internal policies.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve service challenges.
