Job summary

Feldkamp Enterprises, a Marsden Holding Company, is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team in Ohio. You will work on commercial plumbing systems on jobsites assigned by the Project Manager, reporting to the Field Foreman.

The role requires independent work, effective troubleshooting, and high craftsmanship. Key duties include reading blueprints, installing and testing piping systems, and ensuring safety compliance with PPE and regulations.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
• General understanding of hand tools (tape measure, wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers).
• Ability to safely operate power tools.
• Professional verbal and written communication within all levels of the company.
• Commitment to safety, PPE usage, and organized worksites.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, solvents, caulking or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
• Fill pipes or fixtures with water or air and observe gauges to detect leaks.
• Review blueprints and codes to determine details and procedures.
• Locate and mark pipe installations and fixtures with measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe using hand/power tools and machines.
• Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances and fixtures.
• Cut openings to accommodate pipes and fittings and hang supports.
• Install vent, storm, sanitary, gas, and water piping and extend piping to connect fixtures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Summary:

Feldkamp Enterprises, a Marsden Holding Company, is seeking a skilled Plumbers to join our team. Our team of Plumbers are responsible for working on jobsites assigned by their Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in commercial plumbing systems, ability to work independently, troubleshoot effectively, and deliver high-quality craftsmanship. Plumbers will be required to work directly under the Field Foreman.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Know state and local plumbing regulations.
• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvents, caulking or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
• Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.
• Review blueprints and building codes and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
• Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, and fixtures in structures using measuring instruments such as rules and levels.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles, using hand and power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, and pipe-bending machines.
• Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers and water heaters and fixtures such as sinks and toilets using hand and power tools.
• Cut opening structures to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings using hand and power tools.
• Hang steel supports from ceiling joists to hold pipes in place.
• Install vent, storm, sanitary, gas, and water piping systems and extend piping to connect fixtures and plumbing to those systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• OSHA 10 or 30 Certification
• Have a general understanding of hand tools (tape measure, pipe wrenches, hammers, screw drivers, etc.).
• Be able and willing to handle power tools in a safe manner.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner at all levels inside and outside the company.
• Operate in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements (wear proper PPE, keep worksite organized, safe, and free of hazards).
• For safety reasons, basic English proficiency is required.
• A pre-employment drug screen is required.
• You must have a valid driver's license.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working on multi-phase, large-scale construction projects.
