Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plans, prepares, installs, and maintains piping and plumbing systems composed of various materials; systems may include pipes, pressure and vacuum gauges, pipeline filters, steam traps, and strainer valves.
• Understanding of plumbing and mechanical system designs and diagrams.
• Refer to blueprints and schematics to install new systems and to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair existing equipment.
• Assembles fittings and valves for installation.
• Install pipes and fixtures per regulation.
• Modify length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for projects.
• Use hand tools as necessary.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems. Report or resolve problems as necessary.
• Able to work in a team setting and work independently, efficiently, and safely.
