Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in Commercial Physical Damage Claims Appraising
• Must attain and maintain the required licenses issued by state insurance departments
• Valid driver’s license (must meet company underwriting guidelines for at least the past 3 consecutive years)
• Will require you to work remotely and in the field
• Strong computer, mechanical aptitude, and multi-tasking skills
• Effective attention to detail and decision-making skills
• Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, and willingness to expand on these abilities
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent, college degree or currently pursuing preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspect commercial damage and estimate cost of repairs.
• Prepare total loss evaluations and negotiate settlements.
• Issue payments and provide excellent customer service.
• Service commercial claims such as contractor vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Utilize adjusting tools and technology in estimating and reporting.
• Work in a dynamic environment including repair shops, salvage yards, and in the field
