Orkin is hiring for an entry-level Pro role in Wisconsin, with a company vehicle and gas card. You will receive award-winning training and start on a customer service route, focusing on safety, problem solving, and professional conduct with clients.

The position emphasizes learning, growth, and meeting customers’ pest management needs. You will inspect properties, communicate actions, and document all service activities while working on a defined territory.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Experience in service industries or skilled trades is a plus.
• Ability to obtain a pesticide license within 90 days (paid by the company).

Responsibilities

• Complete our award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers.
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customer’s location.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment.
• Communicate with customers to explain actions taken and discuss additional services for pest management.
• Meet with customers in their businesses or homes to explain actions taken and ensure satisfaction.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s property; training is provided.
• Complete all required service-related documentation in a handheld device for speed and accuracy.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Experience in the skilled trades or service industries is a plus
• Experience in a professional driving or route management role is a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
• Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments and interact with our great customers inside their businesses and/or homes

What will my work environment be like?

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator
• Willing to work in different types of weather conditions
