Job summary

Orkin is hiring an entry-level Commercial Service Technician in Illinois. You’ll start with comprehensive training and learn to deliver professional pest control services on a defined route. You’ll operate a company vehicle, follow schedules, and interact with customers to identify needs and provide effective solutions.

No industry experience is required—Orkin provides the tools, safety training, and support to build a career with growth potential and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments and interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Safely and professionally protect customers on a designated service route.
• Complete award-winning training to learn required skills.
• Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of vehicle and equipment.
• Explain actions taken to customers and discuss additional services to provide peace of mind.
