Job summary

Orkin is hiring an entry-level Orkin Pro to protect customers’ homes and businesses. You will start with award-winning training and learn to diagnose problems, plan treatments, and provide safe, effective pest control.

You’ll work on a designated service route, perform inspections, and communicate with customers to ensure peace of mind. This role offers paid training, a company vehicle with gas card, benefits, and opportunities for career growth in a recession-resistant industry.

Qualifications

• No industry experience required; Orkin training provided.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within first 90 days (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and with customers.

Responsibilities

• Complete award-winning training to learn skills and knowledge for customers.
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Follow route and daily operation schedule within assigned territory.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain it.
• Maintain professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Be a problem solver with empathy to recommend efficient solutions.
• Meet with customers to explain actions and ensure satisfaction.
• Inspect interiors and exteriors of properties and perform required tasks.
• Communicate actions taken and discuss additional services for peace of mind.
• Document service activity with handheld device for speed and accuracy.
