Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Columbus, OH is seeking a Commercial Specialist to support CPP-led sales and coordinate commercial deliveries from order creation to dispatch. You will manage the store vehicle fleet, conduct safety checks, and maintain parts backroom readiness.

Responsibilities include stocking visits, upselling, and leading the commercial program in CPP's absence, with emphasis on customer relationships, inventory knowledge, and strong multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy environment and route store drivers.
• Basic dispatching knowledge and inventory management understanding.
• ASE certification preferred and valid driver’s license with MVR certification.

Responsibilities

• Support CPP-led commercial sales and assist with dispatching and coordination of deliveries.
• Manage store vehicle fleet maintenance, safety checks, and general readiness.
• Conduct account stocking visits and Pro Sales flyer drops.
• Perform outbound calls, follow-ups, and basic account touchpoints.
• Lead the organization and maintenance in the parts department/backroom, staging, and delivery areas.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase average transaction value.
• Lead the commercial program when CPP is not present.
