Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking experienced Commercial Painters to join a team serving Southern California. The ideal candidate has at least two years of painting experience and can work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m. You must provide and use your own hand tools and follow Cal/OSHA safety guidelines. Responsibilities include painting interior/exterior surfaces, taping for clean lines, and mentoring apprentices.

Qualifications

• At least two years of commercial painting experience.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow safety guidelines, Cal/OSHA requirements, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Paint interior and exterior surfaces with rollers, brushes, or spray equipment.
• Use proper taping techniques to protect surfaces and achieve clean lines.
• Estimate and record supplies and materials needed for daily workload.
• Coach apprentices on production standards.
• Erect temporary structures and set up hoists as needed.
• Perform finish work as required.
• Dispose of used paint properly.
• Review drawings or schematics to determine materials and equipment needed.
• Keep jobsites clean and free of debris and waste.
• Communicate jobsite progress to management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. (SEMP) is a leading provider of commercial skilled trade services throughout Southern California. We are seeking experienced Commercial Painters to join our team and the ideal candidate will have at least two years of recent, relevant painting experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Paint interior and exterior surfaces using rollers, brushes, or spray equipment
• Use proper taping techniques to protect surfaces and achieve clean lines
• Estimate and record the supplies and materials needed to complete the daily workload
• Coach apprentices on production standards
• Erect temporary structures, such as scaffolds, and set up hoists as needed to support painting work
• Perform finish work as required
• Ensure used paint is properly disposed
• Review drawings or schematics to determine the materials, supplies, and equipment needed for each project

• Perform additional duties as assigned
