Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is hiring a full-time DOT Delivery Driver in Chesapeake, VA to deliver tires to accounts and provide excellent customer service. You will ensure loads are stacked, padded, and secured, while maintaining a safe driving record and complying with all traffic laws.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license.
• Maintain a Motor Vehicle Record meeting Mavis's Driving Record Standards.
• Experience driving and operating a straight truck.
• Able to regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tires to accounts and ensure loads are secured and padded.

About the Position of Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver

As a Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver for Mavis, you will be responsible for the safe operation of a delivery truck. In addition, our Commercial Motor Vehicle Drivers must ensure all delivery loads are stacked, padded, and properly secured. By safely operating your delivery truck in accordance with all traffic laws and maintaining a good driving record, you will be part of a delivery team that provides superior customer service.
