Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Commercial Maintenance Technician for 1st shift in Los Angeles. You will perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, troubleshoot HVAC, and support data center facilities to meet critical specifications and occupant comfort.

Require at least 5 years in commercial facilities, HVAC/refrigeration training, a Refrigeration Technician License, and strong writing skills, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office. Compensation ranges per site and location.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to all mechanical equipment and systems.
• Conduct building tours, maintain equipment loss, and report deficiencies for corrective action.
• Respond to all HVAC trouble calls and troubleshoot the systems to meet the critical specifications of all Data Centers and critical environments as well as operational and comfort needs of the building(s).
• Be proficient in the functionality of the BMS/EMS and understand the sequences required for proper building, equipment and system operations.
• Work with engineers, contractors and consultants in evaluating the proper operation of the building systems.
• Maintain a professional, safe and clean environment.
• Troubleshoot HVAC equipment and controls to determine problems and perform necessary repairs.
• Maintain HVAC equipment on an ongoing basis as part of the facilities preventive maintenance program.
• Perform other related duties as assigned, assisting other tradesmen, and emergency repairs.
• Adhere to established HVAC work order preventive maintenance schedule.
• Completes work in accordance with C&W Services Business Systems Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions.
• Able to assist with other facilities work as needed
• Create and maintain all operational SOPs for site specific equipment and systems.

REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Education And/or Experience)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 25lbs frequently, 50 lbs. occasionally
• Climb and work off of ladders and aerial lifts safely
• Observant which requires seeing, hearing, and smelling

The compensation for the position is: $34.00 - $40.00
