Mission Recruiting, LLC is seeking a Litigation Associate in Wheaton, Illinois, for an onsite role with 3–5 years of experience handling complex commercial litigation. You will work with partners on filings, motions, discovery, and strategy, with direct client interaction throughout the litigation process.

The position requires admission to the Illinois bar and both state and federal courts, and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a licensed attorney.
• Illinois bar admission required.
• Admission to both Illinois state and federal courts required.
• Commercial litigation experience preferred.
• Defense-side litigation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with partners and clients on complex commercial litigation matters, including drafting pleadings and agreements, propounding and responding to discovery, conducting legal research, drafting and arguing motions, interviewing witnesses, and taking and defending depositions.
