Overview

Position: Commercial Lines Account Manager at World Insurance Associates

World Insurance Associates is a unique insurance organization offering top products and services from major providers, combined with attentive service from local agents. Founded in 2011, World is a growing insurance broker with over 2,200 employees in more than 260 offices across North America. We specialize in personal and commercial insurance lines, surety and bonding, employee benefits, financial and retirement services, and human capital management solutions. This role contributes to delivering excellence in client management and retention.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Effectively managing a high-volume book of Insurance business, ensuring all required tasks are completed accurately and on time
  • Growing client loyalty by building positive relationships and providing high levels of advocacy, excellent service, and professional communication
  • Handling renewals, service requests, claims, billing and new policies
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of markets and their appetites, underwriting guidelines, submitting and processing procedures
  • Reviewing all applications, policies, endorsements and audits for accuracy
  • Coordinating expiration lists with the department manager to obtain renewal information
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Three years minimum Commercial Account Management experience required
  • Property & Casualty License required
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance, required
  • Strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Applied/Epic or similar agency management software experience, preferred
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of interaction with team members
  • Self-motivated, driven, and able to maintain a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication, active listening, and problem-solving with minimal assistance
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, work independently, and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude
