Job summary

Stones River Electric is seeking a Lighting Technician to support our growing national operations, focusing on installation, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of commercial and industrial lighting systems and controls.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of hands-on field experience, can lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders and work independently in the field; a High School Diploma or GED is required, with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on field experience with commercial lighting systems and repairs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders and work at heights.
• High School Diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload in the field.
• Comfortable using basic technology (iPad, etc.).
• Good communication skills.
• Must pass drug screen, background check and MVR.

Responsibilities

• Installation, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of commercial/industrial lighting systems and controls.
• Maintain and repair electrical branch circuits as part of lighting projects.
• Collaborate with field teams to ensure timely and quality service.
