Mill is a waste prevention technology company reimagining what it means to eliminate waste, starting with food. We build smart systems and infrastructure for homes, businesses, and municipalities that transform food scraps from landfill-bound waste into valuable resources, including chicken feed.

As the Commercial Launch & Deployment Manager, you will serve as the tactical execution lead for Mill’s commercial launch and expansion, coordinating with the Head of Deployments and the Operations team

Qualifications

• 4+ years of program management, field operations, or hardware launch experience, with 2+ years in B2B/commercial infrastructure or enterprise hardware.
• Willingness to travel nationally up to 50% during peak site deployment cycles.
• Experience operating within health, safety, food-handling, or building compliance frameworks (OSHA, NSF, UL) is a plus.
• Technical literacy; comfortable reviewing hardware specs, electrical/space constraints, and network profiles.

Responsibilities

• Site Readiness & Launch Program Management.
• Develop and support Mill Commercial Site Readiness Checklist and launch playbooks.
• Build and maintain the integrated master launch schedule across HW Eng, Supply Chain, Logistics, Field Ops, and Partner Success.
• Lead cross-functional syncs to mitigate risks and ensure deployment schedules are met.
• Audit vendor performance and ensure compliance with Mill standards and security requirements.
• Translate complex workflows into SOPs for grocery kitchen staff and partner success teams.
• Develop training curricula and trainer frameworks for high-turnover service environments.
