Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and assigned book of business to meet contract specs.
• Develop strategies to win new contracts, renewals and improvements.
• Build a referral network with subcontractors, vendors and allies.
• Monitor performance vs. budget and address deviations with management.
• Ensure client satisfaction by delivering outstanding service.
• Identify opportunities for site improvements and efficiency.
• Conduct site walk-throughs with supervisors to suggest changes.
• Assist in recruiting, training and developing staff; promote teamwork.
• Assign teams and equipment for productivity and maintenance.
• Pursue professional development in horticulture and industry trends.
• Snow removal duties including plowing, shoveling, salting; on-call when needed.

Position Overview

The CLS Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships by monitoring daily operations activities and contract specifications to exceed client expectations. This role involves developing referral networks, building relationships, conducting site walk-throughs, creating proposals, and pursuing the collection of accounts receivable. This position is a year-round position and will include a snow portfolio.

Job Duties

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor daily operations and assigned book of business to ensure client expectations and contract specifications are met.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve new contracts, contract enhancements, and renewal sales goals.
• Build and maintain a network of referral business through relationships with subcontractors, vendors, allied trades, and other associates.
• Monitor actual performance versus budget, develop strategies to address deviations, and review them with the management team.
• Ensure client satisfaction through outstanding service and by understanding and exceeding their expectations.
• Identify, estimate, and propose problem-solving and site enhancement opportunities for clients.
• Conduct property walk-throughs with team supervisors to suggest efficiency and quality improvements.
• Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of employees while promoting innovation, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Assign teams and equipment for maximum productivity and monitor equipment maintenance schedules.
• Pursue professional development in the horticultural industry and stay current on industry events and trends.
• Snow removal duties, including but not limited to: plowing, shoveling, salting. Position will be scheduled, or on-call for snow events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of related industry experience and/or training.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer or software programs necessary to complete job duties.
• Driver’s license.
• Ability to acquire applicator licenses as necessary per state requirements.
• Ability to complete required safety courses upon hire.
• Ability to operate power equipment.
